The qualification has a defined number of guided learning hours and total qualification time. For example, the Diploma version has 360 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) out of a total time requirement of 616 hours.

Course Structure & Content
The diploma includes mandatory (core) units and a selection of optional units so you can tailor part of the course to specific interests.

Assessment & Practical Work
Much of the assessment is internal (designed/marked by the teaching centre) to reflect practical skills and knowledge.
