Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study
As an apprentice you will:

  • Work alongside experienced staff
  • Gain job-specific skills
  • Earn a wage and get holiday pay (a minimum of 20 days + bank holidays)
  • Receive sick pay and any benefits the company offers such as childcare voucher schemes
  • Get time for study related to your role (usually one day a week)
  • Open the door to other career opportunities

Apprenticeships take 1 to 2 years to complete depending on your level.
Level 2 apprenticeship is equivalent to a GCSE and Level 3 to an A Level.
